Pupil of Giò Ponti, Ernesto Nathan Rogers, and Vittorio Gregotti. His name is associated with countless prestigious projects created for Milan, Rome, Madonna di Campiglio, Porto Cervo, Benhazi, Misurata, Tripoli, Gedda, Paris, Cannes, Lyon, Yaoundé, London, and New York.
In 2007, he was awarded the VIA prize by the French Industry and Design Association.
